One San Francisco family set out to celebrate their daughter’s 30th birthday in style. They transformed their Pacific Heights backyard into a lush, cocktail-party venue. Catering, music, and florals were already in place. However, one detail remained unresolved: 75 guests, flowing drinks, and no access to indoor restrooms. That’s when they turned to The Water Cottage.

The property’s side driveway was just nine feet wide, with a gate, garden bed, and overhead foliage to consider. Our delivery team coordinated with the homeowner during a site visit. They measured clearances and confirmed access. With every detail mapped out, the team was easily prepared to navigate the tight space.

We arrived early the next morning with extra spotters. By 10 a.m., the team had skirted, styled, and stocked the 12-foot unit. Faux hydrangeas were in the flower box, linen towels were stacked neatly, and the Nest diffuser filled the air.

The trailer sat perfectly level and remained out of sight from the party’s view. String lights draped overhead, tying the setup into the space. Every detail works together to create a great experience.
